Matt's Welding Projects

 Last Semester, Matt was in a welding class and  he got some new gear for it and put on a fashion show for me. It was fun. I even got to try on the helmet! He made a ton of cool stuff you can see farther down.




 This thing is a hanging pot rack. It has stars on it and it says Matt and Kate on the front.

    Wow! I love that hanging pot rack! It has stars on it! By the way, how long does learning how to weld take? Weeks, months, a year? I want to enroll in that one too so that I can make wonderful welding projects too!

      It was after 2 community college courses that he made this. One was basic welding and then other was an art welding class. So it doesn't take too long.

Ok, so I haven't updated the blog all summer long- but this is not the post that will update you on my summer.  This is a blogger in need of advice. We Make Food!

We have been trying to make things from scratch so we aren't eating a bunch of processed foods and it's working out pretty well. If anyone has any simple from scratch meals that they love please share! W e bought a little pumpkin and made:  pumpkin seeds! also with the same pumpkin...  pumpkin pie!  Chicken pot pies!  Doughnuts!  chicken and bisquits! Alfredo w/shells and artichokes! We love making food! So give us your homemade recipes!

My Cloth Diaper Experience So Far

Hey Friends, I know it's been a long time coming, but I had to make sure I had this down before I posted about my cloth diaper experience. I still have a lot of learning and improving to do but here is what I've got so far. If you want to just get down to business, I have a video at the bottom here that you can just watch without reading the boring story first ;) So to begin, as some of you may know, I received a TON of cloth diapers from a friend and since we were considering trying it anyway, this really tipped us over the fence and here we are doing cloth diapering. At first, I wanted to wait because I thought Olivia was too small for any of the diapers I had, which I found out was not actually true, they just look HUGE when you put them on your baby.
